2% Early Payment Discount

Get a 2% discount off your annual tuition fees by paying them up front and in full. For example:

  • annual course tuition fee: £7,200
  • 2% tuition fee discount: £144
  • tuition fee you pay: £7,056

This is the only discount managed by the tuition fees team.

Eligibility criteria

You'll be eligible if you are:

  • an international student or a UK/EU postgraduate student and can pay your annual tuition fees in full before the end of registration week
  • UK/EU undergraduate, Intercalating Medic, PGCE or MArch student and can pay your annual tuition fees in full before your November instalment deadline

You should deduct the 2% discount before you make payment.

The discount applies to the proportion of fees you are personally responsible for. If you are part sponsored, you will receive the discount on the fees that you pay. Your sponsor will not receive the discount. For example:

  • annual course tuition fee: £7,200
  • part sponsor pays half the fee: £3,600
  • tuition fee discount applied to your proportion of the fees: £72
  • annual tuition fee you pay: £3,528

You will not be eligible for the 2% discount if your tuition fees are being paid for in full or in part by a tuition fee loan.

How to apply

The discount will be applied automatically when you pay your annual tuition fee in full.
