The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is our most prestigious scholarship of £8,000, available to undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for the most outstanding students who have achieved exceptional academic results, and who can demonstrate a passion for their subject through professional work experience, volunteering or extracurricular projects and activities. 

How much is this scholarship worth?

Successful applicants will be awarded £8,000 to help with tuition fees.

Who can apply?

International and EU students from any country can apply. This scholarship is available for students applying to undergraduate (excluding Medicine) and postgraduate taught courses (excluding MBA, Postgraduate Diploma for Overseas Pharmacists (OSPAP) and distance learning courses). starting in September 2022.

Please note, postgraduate research students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Aston University welcomes students from all backgrounds. This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, and a genuine commitment to their subject area which could be demonstrated by work-experience, volunteering or extra-curricular projects and activities.

For courses starting in September 2022, the deadline to apply for this scholarship is:

  • Round 1: midnight UK time on Monday 28th February 2022

  • Round 2: midnight UK time on Thursday 31st March

  • Round 3: midnight UK time on Saturday 30th April 2022

  • Round 4: midnight UK time on Tuesday 31st May 2022

  • Round 5: midnight UK time on Thursday 30th June 2022

  • Final round: midnight Uk time on Sunday 31st July 2022

The deadline that applicants will receive a response by is:

  • Round 1: Monday 14th March 2022

  • Round 2: Monday 18th April 2022

  • Round 3: Monday 16th May 2022

  • Round 4: Monday 20th June 2022

  • Round 5: Monday 18th July 2022

  • Final round: Monday 15th August 2022
