Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) has been in the historic heart of Lincoln for over 150 years, a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle and the old Roman city. In recent years the University has grown rapidly expanding and developing its portfolio of courses into more exciting new areas. BGU consider ourselves experts in education and have been teaching it for over 150 years, but its teaching programmes now sit alongside an exciting range of other subjects, including drama, psychology, sociology and sport.
In 2017, Bishop Grosseteste was awarded Gold in the first ever Teaching Excellence Framework, beating two-thirds of Russell Group universities.
