You must submit your application through UCAS by 30 June 2023 and if you meet, or exceed, the conditions stated in your UCAS offer, or, if you are initially awarded an unconditional offer, you will automatically be granted the scholarship as a tuition fee discount.

To be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship you must meet, or exceed, the conditions of your offer. Applicants initially awarded unconditional offers will automatically be granted the scholarship, which will be in the form of a tuition fee discount. This is subject to you meeting our eligibility criteria and deposit deadlines as set out in the terms and conditions.

Qualifying recipients of the scholarship will receive the award in the form of a tuition fee discount. No cash alternative is available and the award cannot be used in place of any required deposit.

The scholarship is for full-time students who will be based on the Cardiff campus and start their studies in September 2023. The award cannot be used for any other year of entry.

Only self-funding international students are eligible and you must be confirmed as an overseas student for fee paying purposes. The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local Government, charities or private organisations.
