All BSc (Hons) International Financial Services degrees are awarded by the University of Buckingham, with 2-year fast-track and 3-year study options available. The University of Buckingham has the highest rate of graduate employment in the country and was ranked 25th out of 119 institutions in The Guardian’s 2014 league table.
The University of Buckingham was ranked 31st out of 114 universities in the country for Business and Management Studies (The Guardian University Guide 2014) and 25th overall (The Guardian University Guide 2014), has the highest rate of graduate employment of any university in the United Kingdom and is top for graduate prospects with 96.6% of graduates in further education or employment six months after leaving (HESA July 2013).
Located within 6 minutes walking distance, accommodation consists of single or double bedrooms with en suite Bathrooms. Balcony, private patio and sea views are available. Bedding and towels are provided and changed regularly. Basic cooking facilities are available in each room; although the option of a cooked breakfast is available, as well as a common room area with TV and Wi-Fi. A laundrette is onsite and rooms are cleaned regularly. Buses to all major destinations are regular and whilst it is safe to own and drive cars, there is no designated parking. All restaurants are in close walking proximity.
Students study in the heart of St Helier, the central business district, recognised as a leading international finance centre. Jersey is well connected for student travel and is less than 14 miles from France and under an hour from London, with frequent flights to all major European centres. The Island lifestyle is unique. Jersey’s close proximity to France adds a distinctly European feel with Michelin-star restaurants serving the freshest seafood and locally grown produce. From international film and food festivals to leafy lanes and stunning beaches, Jersey really has something for everyone.
