At the heart of the University of Liverpool’s mission is the advancement of learning and the ennoblement of life. This includes a commitment to supporting those fleeing conflict and at risk of persecution. As part of this commitment, we are offering the Humanitarian Scholarship Programme for international students wishing to continue their academic careers at postgraduate level. This scholarship is open to support people who have recognised status as either refugees or are under humanitarian protection under the 1951 Refugee Convention. This status must be held outside of the UK. Amount:The awards cover full tuition fees, visas and support for accommodation and living expenses. There are up to 3 awards for one year each. Open to:The scholarship is open for all postgraduate-taught programmes, excluding medicine, dentistry, veterinary and nursing. Eligibility criteriaOur scholarships are intended to support individuals at risk who have been granted protection under the 1951 Refugee Convention and are intended for those who could not afford to study at the University of Liverpool without a scholarship.
