Scholarships at Manchester Metropolitan University

Manchester Met alumni who commence a taught postgraduate qualification with us in academic year 2023/24 may be eligible for a 20% discount on course fees.

We want all our graduates to have the best possible chance of maximising their career success. Our Alumni Loyalty Discount is designed to help our graduates to go into further study. 

Eligibility

The Alumni Loyalty Discount is open to former students who have successfully completed one of the following courses at Manchester Metropolitan University:

• Undergraduate/postgraduate taught degree (excluding HND)

• Foundation Degree

• PGCE

• GDL

And who meet the requirements for entry to a postgraduate taught course at Manchester Metropolitan University in academic year 2023/24.

Current students who started a qualifying postgraduate taught course prior to academic year 2022/23 will remain eligible for the 10% Alumni discount.

Terms and Conditionbs

• Full course fees are displayed during online enrolment. Discounts will be applied once your invoice has been processed.

• Eligible alumni receive a 20% discount (not applicable to commercial contracts) on their taught postgraduate tuition fees when they commence one of our eligible full-time or part-time postgraduate taught courses in academic year 2023/24.

• All discounts are reviewed on an annual basis and may change or be removed for future years.  Students commencing a course of more than one academic year’s duration may continue to receive a discount each year (which will be in line with the value of the scheme applicable for the academic year they started their course) provided the course is completed in the original agreed timeframe.

• To receive the discount, you will be a graduate of an eligible Manchester Metropolitan University degree programme and applied to an eligible taught Master’s programme at Manchester Metropolitan University (see Eligibility tab).

• The Alumni Loyalty Discount award is not applicable to PGCE, MArch, Integrated undergraduate masters degrees including MChem and MEng, and a small number of other specific courses.

• Manchester Metropolitan University externally enrolled students will be eligible if they graduated with a Manchester Metropolitan University undergraduate degree.

• Discounts will be awarded both to self-funding students (based on the amount payable by the student) and external sponsors (based on the amount payable by the external sponsor) only (excluding Government/NHS agencies grants and bursaries).
